Thanksgiving and then some

I usually only blog about once a month but I am going to try and be better. Since I love cooking I think I will blog on recipes I try. I have the ingredients for 3 new recipes that I can't wait to try. Maureen's Tomato Soup, Lynsie's Chicken Straganoff, and EZ 1-2-3 turkey chili- HG.

Thanksgiving was great. We went to the lake and celebrated my 25th bday! Lordie can't believe I am 25! We also enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with my brother's fiance's family. They were a lot of fun. I forgot my camera so don't have many pics from the weekend.

We did put up our 1st xmas tree! We have a lot of cute wedding ornaments! Soccer too! It's great and we are starting a tradition that we get each other an ornament every year so our tree is full and covered :)

Our baby girl is doing great! She is so good and loving us! She loved the lake and being able to just run! OK here are some pics I do have.

My guilty pleasures never end but my top 2 that come to mind are:

1. Mexican Food. I could eat mexican food everynight I think! I love guacamole( my homemade version best!- avocados, tomatoes, lime juice, salt and pepper- I could have salsa and chips all the time and I love my sour cream chicken enchiladas and turkey tacos. YUMM-O!

2. Registries- yes I am in wedding fever since I am getting married in two months and I am OBSESSED with everyones registries including my own. It seems like I am always adding things or just seeing what all my friends have on theirs. It is a daily routine! I am a dork officially!

Top 2 Tuesday.. well Wednesday today

My friend Bert does this so it looked fun! I hope I can keep up and I think it is a cute idea by Undomestic Momma! I chose a bad time to come in because I am not a big reader. Literally never hardly read.. Here are my top 2..

1. Wedding Etiquette by Peggy Post... So I am sure you are all like really, but this book was/is my bible for my wedding. It helped me with so many tips and do's and don'ts. My sister Meredith gave it to me and i love it!

2. Twilight.. yes I know what you are thinking. I LOVED the first book! I still have yet to finish the 2nd.. which I was super motivated for a couple months then it just died. Hopefully I will finish the series...

Oklahoma Weekend

Wow I had such a great time in Oklahoma this past weekend. It was filled with events and I just am super exhausted. Friday I drove down there and arrived in the afternoon. I stayed with Sharry, Dannie, and Jessica. I love their house! Anywho it was Bell and El's bday so we went to Chilis for dinner then out to Neds. Good ole Neds haha. I got to hang out with a bunch of my Delta Zeta's and saw some other friends too. I had Jessica and Dannie do my hair and make up which was fun. Here is a fun pic from the night:





Saturday morning was Allison's baby shower which was a lot of fun. She is so cute and her baby bump is presh! She got so much cute stuff and I am glad I was able to attend!




After the baby shower I roadtripped it to Tulsa where I stayed with Lynsie. I loved her apt. I hung out there before I got ready for Ellie and Paul's wedding. It was so beautiful and Ellie looked amazing. Ellie and I played NSU soccer together and she was one of my roomies my senior year. We are super close and I really love her. It was worth the drive to see my bebe El!!






Later that night Lynsie and I went to Los Cabos and saw Bradders. He is one of the groomsmen in the wedding and a good friend. I was super glad to see him :)

Sunday was my bridal shower. So exciting! My big, lil, and friend Kristy hosted this for me. Soccer friends, Delta Zeta's, and friends came and showered me with so many amazing gifts!!! I feel very blessed that this was thrown for me and that I am still so close to these people. It's like I never left.







All in all it was a great weekend!! This week I am nannying full stop and I am getting ready for another shower this Saturday. It will be with Dallas buddies! I am super excited. I am blessed! It is also the big USA vs England game this Saturday!! Get ready for a fun weekend.
